What you will cover

Each block is taught in the room, with work marked by hand and returned to you.

How Programs Work
Variables, types, decisions, and loops. Students learn to trace code by hand, read error messages, and commit work to Git from day one.

Structure and Data
Functions, scope, and decomposition. Lists, dictionaries, and choosing the right shape for real, messy data.
- 03
Engineering Practice
Debugging as a repeatable process. Reading and safely changing code you didn't write. Testing, refactoring, and documentation.
- 04
Software in the World
Files, JSON, and APIs. Students build, review, and ship a final project — then defend every line of it out loud.
